Kaba security cylinders are suited for use in all types of commercial, domestic and institutional buildings where drill resistance and key control are required.

The system has vastly improved resistance to methods of gaining entry via the cylinder.
The 22 possible pin positions arranged in 4 rows, together with the unique pinning methods, permit Master Keying without using master pins or wafers and their inherent lowering of security. Combined with uniform length of top and bottom pins and springs, these features provide the best possible situation to guard against picking, raking, impressioning or manipulation with a key.
A minimum of two hardened steel pins are used in each cylinder to resist drilling.
Indiscriminate key duplication is safeguarded by patent protection, by the unique depressions and grooves in the key and by the very close tolerances used during the manufacturing process.
It is virtually impossible to copy keys without the special machines used by Kaba Australia Pty Limited or Kaba authorised dealers. Every key system permutation used by Kaba Australia Pty Limited or an authorised dealer is unique and unlike other pin tumbler systems, which must repeat the same pin combination, the Kaba system permutations are never repeated.
Keying Combinations
The master keying capability of Kaba cylinders is much greater than comparable systems. Kaba cylinders incorporate a greater number of pins and a method of arrangement that maximises the available keying combinations.
Key Registration
Every key issued is registered us, and a registration certificate issued to the owner. The owner must complete the details on the certificate which includes the signatures of the person/s authorised to obtain additional keys and return the certificate to the factory or the authorised dealer nominated on the certificate.
Key Identification
All keys are supplied stamped with a supplier code, master key plan number and key number. Special numbering of keys is available if required.
Reversible Keys
A unique design means the Kaba key is one of the few high security keys that can be inserted either way up, the series of grooves and impressions result
in smooth key insertion and convenience for the user.
